Meridian and Zenfolio
Looking at Zenfolio?
Meet Meridian.
Meridian is one product for photographers: a website on your own domain, client galleries, bookings with deposits, contracts, invoices and print sales.
What Zenfolio is
Zenfolio is best known for portfolio websites and client galleries with print sales.
When Zenfolio may suit you better
If you have years of galleries in Zenfolio that clients still visit, plan the move gallery by gallery. Meridian suits a studio that also wants bookings, contracts and invoices in the same place.
How Meridian is different
-
Galleries and the rest of the business together
Galleries sit beside your website, bookings and invoices: one record per client.
-
Your own domain
Your website and galleries share your own address.
-
No commission on sales
Gallery sales are paid into your own Stripe account.
-
Start free
Galleries are free.
-
Made for Australian studios
Australian dollars, GST and your ABN on invoices, in your own time zone.
Moving across
- In Zenfolio, get your client list: Contacts → Export to CSV.
- In Studio, open Settings → Bring work across, choose Zenfolio and add the file.
- Download your photographs: each gallery → Download → Original. Drop each set into its gallery.
- Zenfolio galleries can be very old. Check the originals are actually there before you close anything.
Questions people ask
What about my old Zenfolio galleries?
They keep working until you close the account. Check the originals are really there before you close anything, and bring them across one gallery at a time.
Meridian beside other products
Zenfolio is a trademark of its owner. Meridian Photographers is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, them. Check their site for current details.
